Adding the monitor VESA EDID script to AMO

Start the AMO Admin Console.

Right click on jobs select "New".

Select Job-Type Script.

Enter the name of the job "Monitor".

Copy the contents of the file "amo-monitor-vesa-edid-inventory.ncs" into the edit box.

Check the line which defines the "pEDID" variable.

Note: There seems to be a feature in AMO to join some pasted lines. Check the script for concatenated lines.

Set the scheduling to run always.

Assign all COMPUTERS to the script "Monitor"!

Let the AMO engine transfer the script into the AMO sector(s).

Let the AMO agent execute the Monitor script.

After another engine run the job status should change from Waiting to OK.

Look at the Computer asset and check the collected Monitor VESA EDID information.
